Code of conduct / etiquette
We have a few ground rules to ensure Convergence Conversation is a great community.
- Do not use swearing or strong language
- Do not create topics or posts that criticise, bully or insult other Convergence Conversation members, and do not flame (ie, unwarranted provocation of other members). If you wish to make a complaint against another member, please email conduct@convergenceconversation.com
- Don't post anything that could be perceived as objectionable or offensive (racist, pornographic, sexist, obscene, profane, vulgar, derogatory, hateful, or threatening)
- Spamming is not permitted, although high use is fine as long as you are sensible
- Do not post chain letters, solicitations, pyramid schemes oradvertisements. If you wish to promote your website or others, please restrict this to a link in your profile and one relevant and interesting post accordingly
- Do not post messages which support or condone any illegal activities
- Do not post anything that could be considered libellous or defamatory
- Please don't post any copyright material (unless you hold the copyright of course). Basically, this means that posting wholesale from published books, newspapers, magazines etc. is a no no
- NEVER give out personal details and NEVER arrange to meet another member by yourself.
Please note that these rules apply to all images, text and links posted to Convergence Conversation. If you break the rules, either intentionally or unintentionally, we will either edit or remove the offending material. Persistent or excessive misconduct may result in suspension or permanent revocation of your membership entirely at our discretion.
You can help us keep Convergence Conversation a friendly place by reporting abuse and spamming to conduct@convergenceconversation.com. And because this code of conduct can't cover everything, we also reserve the right to remove any content or suspend your account without prior notice and at our discretion.
Thank you.
