''Convergence Conversation Event, 04 June 2009''
‘Advertising and the impact of convergence’
In the current sea of uncertainty the ability to understand consumer consumption patterns is vital. As the disruptive effects of convergence place new unfounded strains on media revenue, tried and tested business models face stiff competition from new and innovative platforms. This Convergence Conversation examined the role of advertising in the light of convergence. With senior speakers from ITV, Deloitte, CurrentTV and the IAB on board, and hosted by Deloitte, it was an excellent evening .

Questions that needed answers included:
- Is TV still the fundamental media source for consumers?
