Just F*cking Do It!
The fiber activists over at Fibrestream have posted a video (first in a series) entitled jfdiftth over at youtube. The video shows what i'm assuming to be farmers and fiber activists from Fibrestream trenching fields to connect a distant farm. The images in themselves are not terribly exciting, what is exciting is what they represent: broadband deprived households taking the matters into their own hands and relying on the community to do the anual work (which represents the biggest part of the costs).
I'm really eager to see the rest of the video, because I have a burning question that this first installment doesn't answer: what's at the other end?
